Ammolite & Peridot Pendant

Ammolite stones are over 71 million years old fossils.  This expremely rare stone is mined only in a small mine in Alberta, Canada.   Each stone used in Hidden Gem Jewellery Studio is a triplet; there is a clear crystal on top of the actual stone to make it strong enough to wear as jewellery.  There is never two ammolite stone alike in colour, pattern or size. We design and make each piece of jewellery around the stone you see.  
 
This charming ammolite pendant is made out of sterling silver.   This pear shape stone is very round, bursting with rays of greenish gold colours with clouds of blue and red layers . There are opalescene waves of texture in this ammolite stone, giving it the appearance of a painted silk scarve in the breeze. I bring out the green of the ammolite stone with a bright 3mm facetted peridot stone and matte sterling silver leaves of the bottom of pendant.
